Mission Statement
The mission of Sea Island Habitat for Humanity is to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness West of the Ashley River
and the surrounding sea islands, and to make decent housing a matter of conscience in our community.
Description
Sea Island Habitat for Humanity partners with families who cannot afford a conventional mortagage. SIHH relies on
volunteers and donations to achieve its goals of building new homes for families in need. It takes about 2000 hours of
volunteer time to build a Habitat house! SIHH is a Christan housing ministry open to all people.
